Day 126 – Juice Fast Day 4: Afterburn Training

Afterburn training is something interesting I found out about today. It is a type of exercise that makes you continue to burn calories for minutes or hours after you are done.

The idea is to do high intensity exercises for shorter period of time to basically tear up the muscles, but not too hard, you don’t want to hurt your self. After you are done, the body starts to put your muscles back together and in the process consumes a lot of oxygen and burns calories, sometimes as long as for the next 24 hours, depending on the length and intensity of the exercise of course.

I am also going to do a video of me trying some if these exercises that I will post with that article for subscribers only. I am not too exited about doing the video but I am going to do it nevertheless. No laughing! 🙂
